Sport is highly encouraged at the APRC Group, which has even installed a gym on its premises, where a coach comes in every week to run sessions for employees. The Group’s values, revolving around solidarity and surpassing oneself, have naturally led it to work closely with disabled athletes to support them in the best possible conditions as they prepare for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
One example is Alexandre Lloveras, a visually impaired Paralympic tandem bicycle champion and gold medalist in the time trial at the Tokyo 2021 Games. The partnership with APRC Mécénat offers employees the chance to get involved alongside him.
Alexandre introduced them to blind tandem cycling. After his gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, we are proud to announce that Alexandre has once again distinguished himself in Paris, winning no less than three medals this summer: a bronze medal in the road race at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, a silver medal in the time trial, and a bronze medal in the road race at the Zurich World Championships.
