“Les Cités d’Or” is a popular education association whose aim is to identify and spread knowledge, know-how, and interpersonal skills that can be put to good use in personal and professional life, particularly among people who have dropped out of school or social life.
The association’s pedagogical project is inextricably linked with its civic project: to enable everyone to play a full part in their own lives (autonomy) and in society (desire and power to act). As part of the Écoles Buissonnières project, “Les Cités d’Or” welcomes young adults aged 16 to 25, offering them pathways to independence, employability, and citizenship.
In 2023, APRC Mécénat was particularly involved in supporting a choral singing project with young people from the École Buissonnière de l’automne, culminating in a concert at its December Gala Evening.
