The Percigônes training center (Piste d’éducation routière citoyenne des Gônes) aims to
train learner motorcyclists for their AM driving license, free of charge. Provided by the French National Police Motorcycle Club, these courses are the key to driving with a complete peace of mind on the public highway, and thus making it easier to find a first job or internship.
APRC Mécénat has been a partner of Percigônes for several years, and its support has helped finance part of the 1,744 training courses provided by the association over 2022/2023.

“Targeting young people with a focus on citizenship and safety, Percigônes shares strong values with APRC Mécénat. This partnership allows us to invest in equipment such as helmets and safety gear for the young people we train. But mostly, in 2023, it facilitated the acquisition of Intercom units, enabling real-time communication between young bikers and their trainers. Many driving schools envy this equipment for its contribution to both safety and practicality in training.
This long-term partnership will enable us to reach our target of 650 to 700 A permits issued per year (653 by 2023). It also helps us to pursue a mission that is particularly close to my heart: training young disabled workers to obtain their motorcycle and light vehicle licenses.”
